Bought a Windows laptop

[Tonys Dream] I just got a shipment of four books on Windows XP so give me a week or two and I’ll see how I feel. I know it’s silly but one of the reasons I got this thing is so I could learn to use and support this OS;
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[The Tears of Things] They Left Their Huevos In Mexico: I find that so hard to swallow coming from someone in a state where a 1/3 of your legislators haven't even graduated from college! This whole conspiracy that you guys have devised in your head about reconquistadores taking over parts of the U.S. is just plain racist nonsensense, and an excuse to belittle and disparage people working to resolve this complex issue. You do our country a disservice by exisiting - step down from your racist perch and go back into the shadows where you belong, you shame us as Americans.
[Tuaw.com] The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW): Pre-ordered Tiger and received it on the day of release BUT I still haven't upgraded. It's a combination of waiting for the bugs to be worked out (but all my applications and 3rd party software seems to have been updated now) AND the thought of hours of work reinstalling all my many applications (I prefer a clean install) AND there's nothing out there which I want at the moment which requires Tiger (but how long will that be the case ?).
[Vjarmy.com] Dan Dickinson: The Primary Vivid Weblog: QuickSilver - A Better OS ...: The possibilities for this are endless and should come to you easily. Now you can stop switching to the finder, hitting a three-key hotkey for the folder, and drilling down a level or two to launch an application - QuickSilver is so fast, you can probably get the app launched before you would be able to pull up a finder window.
