Apple iBook (12-inch) review
[Geeky Info] ‘The latest Apple iBook (12-inch) may look the same on the outside, but some significant changes inside make it all the more impressive. Upgrades like a processor bump, added hard drive space, and more memory, along with several features passed down from the PowerBook—like a scroll touchpad and hard drive protection—greatly boost the Apple iBook’s value, especially considering that the price remains the same low $999.

Hummers Hit the 21st Century?
[Laptops - Laptopical.com.] With a magnesium alloy casing featuring stainless steel hinges, the HUMMER laptop's overall design and performance software, including a front-loading battery, enhanced outdoor-viewable display and 1.86 GHz Intel Centrino Pentium M processor + 533 MHz FSB with a full cooling fan and 80 GB standard removable hard-disk drive, is hard to beat. And with three concurrent radios -- the standard Wi-Fi, optional GPS, and wireless broadband service -- this laptop, which also meets Military Specification (MIL-STD 810F) standards, is certainly a lightweight contender - in a ring by itself.

Verizon, Dell, Lenovo and HP sitting in a tree
[jkOnTheRun] I have been using EVDO with Verizon for a few months and it is a wonderful service. Having the modem embedded in the mobile device makes a great deal of sense to me, and now that Verizon has dropped the monthly cost of BroadbandAccess from $80 to $60 this could be big for them.
