[Eric Mack On-Line - www.EricMackOnline.com] Tablet PC Roller Coaster of Emotions: Well Eric, I wish you good luck with your tablet. Make sure to continue blogging and podcasting about it. I just decided to wait for some more years until ordering my own machine (check my blog for details), but it's a great compensation to read about and listen to your experiences instead.
[Eric Mack On-Line - www.EricMackOnline.com] Tablet PC Roller Coaster of Emotions: In case you haven't noticed, my TabletPC adventure has been an emotional one. Lots to do, lots to learn. Fortunately,I've met some wonderful people along the way, who've given generously oftheir time to assist me in my quest to become YABHTU.
[Scobles Link Blog] PigPog Blog - Tablet PC - After Two Weeks (from: PubSub: TabletPC): I’ve already admitted recently that I’m now using Internet Explorer, as Firefox just doesn’t seem to get on as well on the tablet. My mail is still in Outlook, and I’m still using pretty much the same apps as before other than that. Notepad++ for text editing and HTML, FileZilla for FTP, eReader for reading books.
[Scobles Link Blog] PigPog Blog - Making CheapsterPDA (from: PubSub: TabletPC): its a wonder my bum doesnt fall off. (Oh, and yes, the pic was scribbled on my tabletPC.) Tags: CheapsterPDA, hipsterpda, 43Folders, lifehacks, gtd, tabletpc Related”¦ Posted in Uncategorized
[PigPog Blog] OneNote Printer Driver: Darron at AnalogReality stepped in and wrote an equivalent, and after a quick play, I’d recommend it to anyone who uses OneNote. Lots of options, but the defaults will probably do the job for most people. I’ve taken to using the Side Notes section as a general dumping ground (or capturing tool, in GTD-speak), so I’ve made it dump any new prints into there.
[Geeky Info] onenote and gtd: I have tried onenote before and liked it but never “got it” enough to keep it as part of my suite of apps. Cameron Reilly when he showed me his tablet pc gave me a glimpse at how he uses onenote. While I can see the advantages onenote would have on a tablet pc, I think there are some uses on a normal pc too. So, until I have the money for a tablet (dream!)
[The Blog of Infinite Angst] Suffer the Little Pleasures: Oh, oh, I'm feeling it, I'm beginning to feel the GTD juices actually flowing. Got a bunch of crap finished today (I NEVER get stuff done on days that I travel). Planned out things for next week, took tasks off my List added goals to my other list and I've still got enough time for a short blog entry.
[The Tablet PCs Weblog - tabletpcs.weblogsinc.com _] The Tablet PC Show #2 podcast now available: I sat in with James Kendrick as co-host of The TabletPC Show on The Podcast Network. [Michaelhyatt.blogs.com] Working Smart: Why I Ditched My Tablet PC: Several people have posted comments, asking why I ditched my Tablet PC a couple of months ago. They were particularly interested since last June I purchased a tablet and enthusiastically endorsed it. In addition to the comments, several people emailed me about my experience. So, I have decided to address the issue publicly and put it to rest.
[Ericmackonline.com] Eric Mack On-Line - www.EricMackOnline.com: I called tech support. My support tech rep informed me, "Visioneerdoes not support the Tablet PC with any of their products at this time;the market's just too small." Despite this disclaimer, Ihe tried to help me anyway before concluding that this scanner and therelated driver simply would not work with Windows XP Tablet Edition. Therewas some discussion as to whether or not Visioneer would take back theproduct since, according to them, the problem is that I am using a TabletPC. I finally got an RMA and the scanner will soon be on itsway back.
[Tabletpcs.weblogsinc.com] Equation tools - GTD add-in for Outlook - The Tablet PCs Weblog ...: I last wrote about this tool in March and, in the intervening time, it has been at various times either central to my processing workflow or uninstalled. Balancing Outlook add-ins to achieve an acceptable level of stability and performance is an ongoing process as I test new add-ins and I have found the GTD add-in often does not work and play well with others. But, recent releases of this tool have achieved a performance level I am quite happy with and no tool I have used better enables a Getting Things Done workflow in Outlook (hardly surprising since this add-in was developed with the active cooperation of David Allen and his team).

[Blogs.officezealot.com] Marc's Outlook on Productivity: Trevor Claiborne has put together a really fine overview and tutorial about using mind maps as a ubiquitous capture and information management tool. He provides an excellent set of mind maps to support his article which you can download, along with links to the 21-day trial version of MindManager and Mindjet’s free viewer program as well. If your curiosity has been aroused by mentions here and in other blogs about using mind maps to capture information, organize it, and share it, this is a must read.
