Pepper Pad, Wi-Fi-Enabled Internet Device

[Archived in Entry]

[GadgetSpy] Consumers can take advantage of home networks and public wireless hotspots for access to online services, or offline, they can play digital media they’ve saved on the Pepper Pad’s built-in hard disk. The Pepper Pad is fully functional and ready to use right out of the box. It offers a far richer viewing experience than small-screen PDAs or mobile phones, but much less maintenance than complex laptops, making it attractive for both computer novices and experienced computer users alike. The Pepper Pad is water-resistant and comes with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery with advanced power management for a day’s worth of activities.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[Dream Kitchen] Y! M! C! A!: When I was grounded I would hand my best friend Kathy a dime through my window and she would get them for me. The phone was very expensive to use, so we would just go to other kids' houses or apartments and throw gravel up at the window and pretty much undermine the whole concept of being grounded, which was the Ineffective Punishment Du Jour. Back to foosball, it was so popular at the teen club I hardly ever got a chance to play. But now's my window of opportunity!

Procata.com[Procata.com] Professional PHP: By showing the code to an interviewee and asking them what they would do to improve it, I found I could get a good idea of their skill level. Novices simply had no idea what to do with it and would just move code around. Sometimes they would insert comments, trying to make the code "better." Some candidates only found and fixed one problem (there were several major ones.) No one fixed all the problems. The one person that I interviewed and didn't have look at the code (for time reasons), we had to let go.

[Roper.org.uk] Tom Roper's Weblog: I'm afraid I'm moving away fromiBlog and am going to useMoveableType's TypePad service instead. I'm sorry to do this, asI like iBlog, and it's been very useful, but some of its limitations, forexample the way my RSS feed of one of my blogs gets mangled, mean that I realydo need to move to something more developed and sophisticated and MT seems to bethe tool of choice.

Stevegilliard.blogspot.com[Stevegilliard.blogspot.com] The News Blog>: It's bone simple. Heat up leftover rice in a skillet, add in onions and seasonings (pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder) and cook. If you want a matzohbrie-like crispy dish, let it cook until almost hard, if not, cook until onions are translucent. Then add two eggs per person, mixed in a bowl, unless you want seperate yolk and eggs, then crack them into the pan.
