The Stages of Tablet PC Ownership

[Archived in Entry, Tablet]

PigPog Bloghttp://pigpog.com/blog [PigPog Blog] I think I’ve passed through at least parts of all of these stages by now. If you have a tablet, or you’re considering one, you’ll probably recognise at least a few. I’m surprised he made it all the way through without mentioning Robert Scoble, though - I could never show such restraint

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

http://www.openwriting.com [Open Writing] Calling Cousins: “Hello, Father. You don’t know me, but I know you from your articles in The Tablet. I am the secretary of The Beekeepers’ Federation and I am ringing to ask if you would be interested in writing an article for our Beekeepers World, a monthly journal with a very large circulation covering many countries.”

Garage Sale Cafe: you why whether you’re interested or not. IMG :) First, it’s a seasonal activity, since one can’.... wrapped in a flour tortilla) and, during Christmas time, tamales. And Montreal”¦? I’ve yet to see... some of the feel of the experience to some degree. This was done in Painter 9. I’ve been tweaking

A Glimpse of My World...[A Glimpse of My World...] The Christmas Letter: Girls, school, work and sports.  Could there be anything more significant in my life?  I’m catching up for lost time when I lived on the farm.  I think sometimes that I might even be turning into somewhat of a city kid.  I’ve become addicted to a television series, The O.C.  It’s about rich kids with lots of drama in California.  It’s pretty awesome.  My next step to becoming “cool” is a bought an iPod.  For those of you that don’t know (meaning you are REALLY out of the loop), it’s a portable music player.  They are pretty cool and I got a pretty good deal from a guy that I work with so that helped too.  One more thing that has really gotten me is high-speed internet.  Those of you that have me on MSN know I’m online all the time and that is because we have wireless internet everywhere on campus, I go to a computer school,  and most people know that it’s the best way to get in touch with me.

To anyone who takes pity or offense, I say: Judge yourself. This is who I am.http://www.livejournal.com/users/blacksatinrose [To anyone who takes pity or offense, I say: Judge yourself. This is who I am.] QAF Fic: How We Began (and How We Will End) (PG-13): Michael's apartment is tiny and cramped (how living with Brian warps one's sense of space) and they sit on the floor because it has more room for spreading things around. Everything is quiet, save the persistent drop of a recently leaky faucet, the scratch of Justin's pencil, and the occasional coo of one Jenny Rebecca who's been deposited with Michael for the day. From where they sit, the apartment is a wonderland of colors and clutter and Justin wonders how Brian he he dscomes to visit without giving in to his obsessive need to straighten things.

[Oli Gness extravaganza machine of....stuff] blatent copying: ever since the golden days of "The copyathon" in the mall...i havnt NOT cheated on any exam/test (even Common Entrance). im still quite proud we managed to get 12people to copy olis geography work from one side of class room to next, in a long line along the back desks :D

[Random Access 3.0] Eh? Apple going Intel? I think not.: Bah: “So I had this cool entry commenting on the recent Apple using Intel fervor and something borked when I posted and it’s all gone.“ (Via Random Access 3.0.)http://ranchero.com/marsedit/ You can get it together with NetNewsWi... Radio.weblogs.com[Radio.weblogs.com] Marcus' Tablet PC Radio Weblog: Had a great dinner last night with Will Vong from the Tablet PC team and his wife at Anthony's in Kirkland. Headed to lunch today with Scoble at Shi Lin. Dinner tonight with Bill Mak from the Tablet team downtown Seattle. Yes, we also spent 2 days with the realtor looking at houses.

Radio.weblogs.com[Radio.weblogs.com] Marcus' Tablet PC Radio Weblog: You wouldn't need an ipod, you've got all your music right there. On business trips, half the people i see using laptops on the plane are playing solitaire or watching a movie. The tough thing with the tablet there is having to prop it up or hold the tablet at the right angle, vs. a laptop or convertible where you've got a natural stand, whether you're using your lap or seatback tray. Oh yeah, heh, you'd have to have ripped a dvd to your hard drive, since most tablets don't have a dvd drive built in.

Blogs.msdn.com[Blogs.msdn.com] frankgo's WebLog :: Overall MEDC was a great show and good presence for Tablet, we had our Hands on Labs in process where developers could use a Tablet and walk through a script for developing mobile PC applications using Visual Studio.  Our test drive center was a hit letting folks take Tablets for a test drive sitting on one of those cool bean bag chairs. Our booth was busy too, most attendees wanted to see the new generation hardware and learn more about our development platform. We gave away a couple of Tablets at MEDC which is always fun and our sessions went well and were nicely attended. It was great to see the interest level grow even more from last year. Thanks to all on MPD for making our contribution to MEDC rock”¦

http://haacked.com [Haacked.com] Tablet PC Question? M200 Or Not M200?: The point of the tablet is to allow one to elevate handwritten ink from merely being a graphical footnote to ubiquitous text to being equal to text. There are a lot that you can do with a Tablet that you can't do with a keyboard and mouse. As to killer apps, OneNote is pretty close for me. I use it at least 2 hours a day.

[Studenttabletpc.blogs.com] The Student Tablet PC: "I've written recently about some of the more exotic capabilities of OneNote, but I thought I would spend a little time on Note Flags. Note Flags are one of the fundamental features of OneNote that makes the power of having an electronic notebook apparent. Oddly, although we consider Note Flags one of the fundamental features of OneNote that everyone should be using, I still meet people who either never use them, or have not discovered the awesome power of Note Flags Summary.
